Test Post about the Berries

Well it’s been an interesting Spring. The February freezes got some of the very early varieties, but most of the major early ripening varieties like Climax and Premier are looking pretty good. That said, the berries have been delayed and they are slow to ripen with the cool and generally overcast weather. I look at them every day and wonder why they are not blue already, but we will just have to wait. We are hoping to open Memorial Day weekend if the plants and berries come along. If we are able to open earlier, I will let you know. The price will be $3.50 per pound, cash or check, which is lower than any other blueberry farm in the area. We can’t wait to see y’all and we hope that you’ll get all the berries you need!

We are finally starting to see some of the berries break out of their green coloration, but I still can’t predict exactly when we will be open.
