Good news: the Blueberries look great so we will open this Saturday and Sunday, June 17th and 18th from 6am to 9pm. We saw great buckets and great pickers all day today and yesterday, and I think everyone had a good time. The Brightwells just keep coming, and I’m finding more Tiff Blues than I thought there would be. We still lost most of them to the freeze on March 20th, but the ones that made it through are delicious.
As for how long the season will last: we shall see. The Tiff Blues were hit hard by the March 20th freeze, but the Brightwells are filling that gap. Hopefully we can open on a weekday next week, and I think we will likely be picking next weekend (June 24th) as well. As usual, I’ll keep posting as we go.
