Open this Wednesday and Thursday

Cash or Check only, $3.75 per pound.

More weekdays! We will open this Wednesday and Thursday, June 14th and 15th from 6am to 9pm for everyone who can’t come to the farm on a weekend. There are good berries and you’ll have a good time. You’ll be picking the Brightwell variety, a few Tiff Blues, and finishing off the Climax and Premiers. Once again I’m putting the teenagers in charge of running the place.  They’ll work buckets, registers, snowcones, and everything else. They did a great job last Thursday and they’ll do a great job again! I’ll just be there to facilitate.

As for how long the season will last: we shall see. The Tiff Blues were hit hard by the March 20th freeze, but the Brightwells seem to be filling some of that gap. I’ll post updates about next weekend as we go, we just don’t know yet.

It will certainly be a shortened season, we just don’t know by how much. I’ll check the field on Thursday and then post an update about Father’s Day weekend when I know more. As always with Blueberry season, you will know as soon as I know!

I’ve had so many amazing conversations this season with our customers that I have to write them in my farm journal so that I don’t forget them. Thanks as always for being the best blueberry pickers in the world!
