Harris County Master Growers Plant sale

Hello Blueberry friends!

I hope that you had happy holidays, and you are staying dry today.

Often we get asked where can Blueberry plants be purchased. We mention local nurseries and hardware stores. However, it came to my attention that the Harris county Master Growers Association have annual plants sales. And at the end of this month, they will be selling Blueberry plants, along with fruit trees and other berry plants. Here is their website:

Check out there website. They will have many Blueberry varieties to sell. However, I only recognized two, Tifblue and Premier. These two are the main varieties here at the farm. If you are interested in the other varieties, ask them when they ripen and the size of the Blueberry.

So, note I am not a part of this sale. I am just passing this information to you. Please make any inquiries to the Harris County Master Growers Association.

As for as our Blueberry farm goes, right now, the plants are dormant. They should start budding the first of March.

I will probably make my next post in April.
